Eyjafjallajökull

The oh-so-hard-to-pronounce Eyjafjallajökull is causing problems for the airlines in northern Europe.
It was weird how the icelandair advertisements began appearing in subway few months ago that included volcano on their ads.

Coincident? Ironic?
But.... it looks amazing. Sorry to the airlines and air travelers, but this is just so beautiful.
wish I can see it in person..

This picture taken on March 27, 2010 shows lava spurting out of the site of a volcanic eruption at the Eyjafjallajökull volcano some 125 km east of Reykjavik. With lava still gushing, a small Icelandic volcano that initially sent hundreds fleeing from their homes is turning into a boon for the island nation's tourism industry, as visitors flock to catch a glimpse of the eruption. this one almost look like a profile of a person, a goddess maybe?

Even after seeing this short clip of how to pronounce Eyjafjallajökull, I still can't quite get it... now I'm glad I don't have to say this on tv.. hahaha
